Availability and Pricing

The Frame AI glasses are currently available for pre-order on Brilliant Labs’ website for $349. Shipping is estimated to begin in April 2024.

While the glasses themselves are open-source, some AI features may require a paid subscription service. Estimated pricing is unavailable currently but may be similar to Perplexity AI’s service tiers which offer free limited access or paid monthly/yearly subscriptions.

Competitors in the space include Envision Glasses and Amazon Echo Frames which also provide augmented reality and AI capabilities. However, the open-source nature of the Frame glasses makes them unique.

The full design files and code for the glasses are hosted publicly on GitHub and are compatible with most interpupillary distances. This allows owners to customize and modify their units as desired.
